Job Description:As a Certified Medical Assistant for our one-day skin cancer screening event, you will play a crucial role in supporting our healthcare professionals and ensuring the smooth operation of the event in Monmouth Junction.
- Responsibilities include:
- Assisting dermatologists and other medical personnel during skin examinations.
- Escorting patients to examination rooms and preparing them for screening.
- Recording patient medical histories and vital signs accurately.
- Providing educational materials and answering basic questions about skin health and cancer prevention.
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as patient registration and documentation.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of examination areas.

Requirements:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited institution.
- Previous experience in a clinical or dermatological setting preferred.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and basic patient care procedures.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with patients of diverse backgrounds.
