Key Responsibilities:
- Effective Communication: Engage with employees and customers through phone and computer; convey and receive information clearly.
- Physical Mobility: Move around the store to access files and equipment; remain stationary for up to 50% of the time.
- Product Handling: Manage and reposition products, including sewing machines weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service and create strategies to attract and retain customers.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, motivate, and manage store team members; supervise part-time sales employees in line with company policies.
- Financial Management: Oversee cash register operations, manage store expenses, and maintain a positive financial position.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Prior experience as a retail manager or assistant manager with a proven record of sales success.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in Sewing: Passion or experience in sewing, embroidery, or crafts.
- Education: Degree in Business or Fashion Design/Merchandising preferred.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with our products and sewing machines.
Education Requirements:
