STS Staffing is seeking a Embroidery Specialist Sparks, NV Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm $16/hr. Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Embroidery Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating embroidery machines, creating embroidered designs, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of finished products. This role requires a keen eye for detail, creativity, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:
Embroidery Machine Operation:
Set up and operate embroidery machines.
Load designs into machines and ensure correct settings.
Design Creation:
Digitize and create embroidery designs using computer software.
Modify existing designs to meet customer specifications.
Quality Control:
Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
Make adjustments to machine settings to ensure optimal results.
Material and Thread Management:
Monitor and manage inventory of embroidery materials, including threads and backing.
Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure an adequate supply of materials.
Work Orders and Scheduling:
Prioritize and complete work orders based on deadlines.
Communicate with the production manager to coordinate workflow.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other team members, including designers and production staff, to ensure seamless collaboration.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
Perform routine maintenance on embroidery machines.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with machines promptly.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of designs, production volumes, and machine maintenance.
Requirements:
Previous experience as an Embroidery Specialist or in a similar role is preferred
Skills:
Proficient in operating embroidery machines and relevant software.
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
Creativity in designing and modifying embroidery patterns.
Basic troubleshooting skills for machine-related issues.
Communication:
Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and understand customer requirements.
Time Management:
Ability to prioritize and manage workload to meet deadlines.
Flexibility:
Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic environment.
