1st shift: Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:00pm. $22/hr DOE Summary: Manages incoming receipts of materials, supplies, RGA's, etc.
Records receipts per S.O.P.'s. Monitors and records quality requirements as needed.
Responsible for the organized and efficient maintenance, storage and distribution of air and electric hand tools; parts, operations and safety supplies.
Requisition new or replacement parts, and operational or safety supplies on a timely basis to prevent depletion of inventory and aid continuous production operation.
Safely and expeditiously drives the company vehicle to pick-up supplies or make in-facility deliveries to various departments. Functions and Duties:
Maintains and makes minor repairs to air and electric powered hand tools used by production employees including rebuilding, cleaning and or sending to an outside vendor for repair.
Picks up parts and supplies for operations, maintenance and facilities.
Oversees production materials and safety supplies as needed in each department within the foundry via vending program.
Maintains clean and orderly tool and supplies storage area that can be easily inventoried.
Timely and accurately inventories supplies and parts as needed and prepares reports as required.
Unload all incoming shipments.
Check all incoming shipments for physical damage to the product. Report any damaged product to the Purchasing Manager.
Review the Bill of Landing and determine if it is the correct documentation for the shipment.
Accept the shipment by signing the Bill of Landing and verify the items received against the packing slip.
Date, stamp and initial the packing slip/receiving record along with any certification and enter it into QAD.
