Job Description:We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Sales Manager to oversee our fabric store’s operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management and sales, with a passion for textiles and sewing being a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Daily Operations: Oversee all aspects of the store’s daily activities, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Sales Leadership: Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
- Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and support.
- Inventory Management: Manage the store’s inventory, including ordering new stock, checking deliveries, and organizing the stockroom.
- Staff Management: Recruit, hire, train, and manage staff members, creating work schedules and resolving conflicts.
- Marketing: Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to attract new customers and increase sales.
- Financial Management: Monitor sales data, analyze revenue reports, and make forecasts.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven management and sales experience, preferably in a retail environment.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Knowledge of textiles and sewing is a plus.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business or a related field is beneficial.
