General Purpose and Scope of the Position
• To perform the initial Vehicle Technology set-up, Customer Orientation and Tutorial that assists customers in becoming sufficiently familiar with the various operational, safety and convenience features in their purchased or leased vehicle, at point of sale (Vehicle Delivery) and thereafter (Aftersales).
• General support of Customer Facing and Internal Sales, and departmental operations such as used vehicle preparation, maintaining lot state of order, parked vehicle alignment and other standards of compliance for all vehicles offered for sale.
• To, maintain, protect and elevate the dealership customer experience by upholding the auto brand standards supported by strong product knowledge, and by providing high levels of customer care, service and support in a manner consistent with dealership culture, for all guests, customers and clients. This purpose is crucial to customer satisfaction, social media ratings, client creation and retention.
Basic Requirements
• The ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and instruction in simple, effective terms, while maintaining focus of the required topics list, in order to assure safe basic vehicle operation and feature use to a wide variety of customer demographics.
• Advanced Customer Service Skills: in person, via telephone and email.
• To continually put forth a clean, well-groomed professional appearance.
• To be fast moving and synchronous in order to keep pace with the process and others involved in a highly time sensitive sales environment.
• A Nevada Driver’s License continually maintained with a favorable driving record to assure compliance with and insurability by the Dealership insurance carrier.
• Being able to bend, kneel, squat, compress, crawl, stand and work with hands overhead for brief to extended periods as required to perform vehicle inspections and other vehicle related tasks.
• Working outdoors, being exposed to strong sunlight, wind and temperature extremes typical of the region.
• The willingness and ability to consistently follow detailed instruction and procedures as set forth by the Dealership and the Manufacturer, with a high order of accuracy.
• Completion of all company required Compliance Training and Testing.
• All initial and subsequent training as determined and required by the Manufacturers
